It's gonna be a tough night for Martell, having to guard Lebron. So far he's done an okay job. But Lebron will probably be much more aggressive in the 2nd half.

Great call out of the timeout to give it to Bayless.

Blazers lead 54 to 45 at the half. What a pleasant surpise so far. But I'll be shocked if we can actually pull this one out.

Agreed. Bayless has that pure speed and quickness to surprise the defense.

Props to Dean for that play-call for Jerryd. Damn, that was nice coaching!

I'm afraid we're going to start losing when Blake comes in again.

Holy sh*t! We called a play for Bayless and it was a smart thing to do. He is our fastest player and best at attacking the rim. Great way to end the half. Even if we don't win, I have been very satisfied with the way we are playing tonight. Btw, that last foul by Webster on Lebron was a joke. Webster fell to the ground and missed touching him all together. Wish Roy and Aldridge got those kind of calls from time to time.

Because with Oden on the court, Roy isn't "the man".

LA, and Outlaw are happy to take a back seat to Roy.

Rudy may not be happy about it, but he'll do it.

    Oden won't.

So maybe Roy is fine with Oden being out, because he gets to be "the man".

No doubt! And he left Webster in during the first quarter because he was hot. Nate wouldn't have done that.

Am I taking crazy pills? Haven't we run this exact play for Jerryd like three or four times before at the half of games?

Gotta give it up to to the team for performing this well in the first half so depleted and struggling with some games the last few weeks.

Blake has more assists and rebounds than LeBron.

    Juwan . . . Mr. 2nd quarter?

I think it's safe to say we aren't going to get 26 2nd half points from Howard and Webster. Roy and Lamarcus need to get it going.

With your username, and avatar, your neutrality on this issue is suspect.

I don't think Roy wants to be "the man" because he's selfish; I just reckon he wants the team to win, and don't I think he trusts anyone else but himself to get the job done.

Like he said, we made OJ Mayo's life easier by not making Roy the focus of the offense. That hurt Roy. Roy felt like we weren't using his skills the best to help the team. I agree with him.

I can imagine Nate, getting out his cellphone and furiously texting Dean again and again to take out Webster, blowing up Dean's phone. :D

That should come as no surprise, he's obviously the superior player.
