Bosh is 3rd behind James and Garnett, a situation unlikely to change, and Bargnani is third behind Howard and O'Neal, slightly ahead of Al Horford. Calderon and Turkoglu make appearances as well and not coincidentally have very similar voting totals to Bargnani (all between 55-68 thousand). Guess that's how many Raps fans have voted. Our old nemesis Vince Carter still has some luster on his lily-white ass but Allen Iverson jumping back to the Eastern Conference could give him a run for his undeserving money. centres are going extinct in the modern nba, at least the conventional ones so bargnani can play centre in the league and have a game that is the antithesis of dwight howard and shaq. if i were to rank the centres in the east, heres what i would do: dwight by a mile, brook lopez, al horford, bogut, noah, perkins, Bargnani, JO, haywood, shaq, tyson chandler, big Z
one thing I'd like to point out, T-Mac is second amongst western conference guards and he's played in zero games so far this season.
actually they shouldn't allow voting in general, and get rid of the all star weekend all together. It's a joke, makes the league look like its targeted it at young little children who just want to yell and scream even if nothing is happening on the court at the rookie game to the point where you have to mute your tv just to watch it.
I personally like the All-Star weekend. Sure there's little basketball value, but it's a nice and light break in the middle of the season, and you get to see the lighter side of the NBA. The only thing wrong with All-Star weekend is too much fan input. They shouldn't allow fan voting for the dunk contest, nor for the ASG starters. And the dunk contest has been pretty crappy for a while.
i hate the actually game but all star saturday night is the shit. i have a buddy who doesnt watch any nba games or any sports for that matter but he makes sure he watches saturday night's festivities
