    Anyone ever been to Typhoon? I see them advertised quite a bit during Blazer telecasts.

    The Screen Door on E. Burnside is good stuff. Southern food, I go there whenever I happen to be in the area. The only problem is that its a small place and sometimes there can be a wait.

    I don't think the genre was on your list, but IMO the best Lebanese food in Portland is Nicolas' on Grand.

    I think Bush Gardens is still open. Its pretty average Japanese food though.

    Syun in Hillsboro is pretty good but really really far.

    I've been to the one in Beaverton...it was pretty standard thai food, but not bad. not super outstanding but I'm used to awesome thai food in LA (translation: go to Pok Pok).
