    Now and in the future.

    1. Nuggets.... Melo is top 3 player in the league. Billups is an amazing PG and they have a great cast. Aren't going anywhere. We cant even beat the jazz.

    2. Jazz - Williams, Millsap, Boozer (this year and who knows.. maybe they resign him) and Ak. Not to mention they will get a top 5 pick in the lotto from knicks. Maybe we will too though since its a slam dunk we are in the lotto. imagine that... jazz make the playoffs and get a better pick then us. can you say punched numerous times in the balls?

    3. OKC - its really not close anymore. Anyone would take their young guys over ours. I mean roy and LA are decent pieces but durants a superstar and Green/westbrook/harden are emerging into great core players for this franshise. the only good news is they will make teh playoffs so no lotto. however tehy will sign a center at some point which will really push them over the top and seperate from us. please dont scream oden. hes done.

Sure, when you think about it.

Seriosly though... are you talking about right now, next season or 2 seasons from now? When we're without Oden, Batum, Fernandez and Outlaw, they're probably all better than us. At full strength, we are right there with Denver. If everything goes wrong, OKC could overtake us in 2 years. Nuggets could seriously slide in 2 years, Carmelo could leave them because other than him, they don't really have any other good young core players. Utah has a good young core in Williams and Millsap, that's about on par with Roy+LMA. Of course all these teams have a better coach than us. Oh yeah, and I agree Oden is done... for the season.

Now maybe but how far in the future? The end of the year? Or are we talking in 5 or 10 years? I'm sure everyone is going to better than us at some point in the future. I really doubt that next year OKC and Utah will be better than us.

Yea you are not even considering some of the talent upgrades. James Harden is a very good player and made a huge difference for OKC.

I think we're at OKC's level right now, but I agree we're a step (or two) behind Denver and Utah.

Going forward, I still think we're in the best shape. I expect Oden to come back and better than ever next year.

OKC will have 2 first rounders and at least 12 million in cap space to work with in 2010. they could get real scary real fast.

I like OKC's team but we should not be devastated by injuries again next year. We may even have a lotto pick this summer. I think Pendergraph and Cunningham are going to improve our lookout once they start getting some/more playing time. Ditto for Bayless. I'm really going to be upset with Blazer management if we miss the playoffs and don't get these guys experience. That would really be a wasted season.

The funny thing is, if record wise we were the best team in our division you'd still find stupid shit to bitch about. Its just what you do.

You really don't need to worry about denver in the future. Billups is aging and so is the rest of that cast. They have a 2-3 window at the most. Jazz are going to be better with that top 5 pick bbut the team to watch out for is okc. That really young core + 2 first rounders will be scary good in a year or two.

Mixums just bitching because hes already looking forward to next years draft. He's got giving any positive signs towards Cunningham, Pendergraph, or Mills who haven't even played yet. Its an automatic assumption in his mind that they suck and he wants to go for a current trade or draft.

Not as bad as Blakey right now. I think of him as the rotten egg in the mix right now amongst the point guards.

Everybody can just forget about the draft. First of all, we've already won 14 games. There are 8-10 teams that will probably win between 15-25 games. We aren't going to be one of them. Unless (Gulp) Roy and LA go down, this team is going to win AT LEAST 35 games. Does anybody really think we'll be worse than 35-47? Well that isn't going to get us in the John Wall Sweepstakes. Let's say we end up with the 10th pick, who are you targeting? There is no way this team tanks the season for a pick - no way.

how many wins did you predict last year? how many times last year did you say if there was no trade the team wouldn't make the playoffs?

did you make a bet again where you will disappear the whole offseason if the blazers make the playoffs?

So with no changes you think we'll be 15-42 or worse from here on out, huh?

I wonder how much money you'd put on that. I would say that you were using Hyperbole, but we know you too well. You actually believe this.

No team with Brandon Roy and Lamarcus Aldridge is going to go 29-53 (or worse) especially after a 14-11 start. Remember Brandon & Lamarcus' rookie year? They missed 44 games with injuries and still won 32 games. Juan Dixon, Fred Jones, Ime Udoka, Dan Dickau . . . you remember those days. Oh, and they were 7-7 in games Z-Bo sat out that year (so don't say he's the reason why that team was better than this years team)
