Yeah, I'm pretty sure the 28-year-old prime Shaq and a young Kobe had a lot to do with their success :biglaugh:

I think 3 guard lineups are ok IF you have 1 PG and 2 SG's (who are both 6'6"+) OR, two strong scoring guards, or PG like Isiah Thomas or Allen Iverson.

    We didn't, we don't and they aren't.

With the Wizards playing like shit, I think Butler might be available.

For us, or for some other team with actual decent, healthy players to trade with?

In a search database, just look for the top 10 teams of all time with the combined top 2 scorers, and you will probably find the team with the all-time bottom-scoring 3 starters.

The 72-win Chicago Bulls (Longley, Kerr, Rodman).

Really? I think three-guard lineups are okay if you win more playing those lineups than otherwise.

I also think that nobody is a guard. Who decided that the Platonic Form of the baskeball team was PG, SG, SF, PF, C? The Pistons seem to be doing okay with their funky lineups. Mike D'Antoni started a guy drafted as a PG (Diaw, believe it or not) at C and did great. Whatever works.

LOL, fine then, get us a coach/players that can make those lineups work, ours do not.

You mean, apart from the fact that we went 7-1 with the three guard lineup?

I have a brilliant idea, how about writing down a list of who we beat in that stretch and tell us convincingly that we should view that as impressive.

How about you convince me that we could beat the same group with Martell starting over Miller? I'm having increasing difficulty in seeing us beating anybody. The days when we complain about a victory over a weak opponent are over.

We don't necessarily have to trade for a star. IMO any average SF would be better than a guy shooting about .350 from the floor. Fuck man. Even Chase Budinger who was drafted in the 2nd round by Houston last year is playing better than our starting SF.

I agree. THough statistically Webster is better than Blake except for assists.
