That requires you getting by the Hawks, Magic and Cavs. Good luck, because you'll have to beat at least 2 of those 3 teams, and I don't think that happens. In fact, if you draw the Hawks in the 2nd round, I'd put money on you guys getting bounced.

He's just as good as Dirk on defense.

Sounds good to me...though that assumes you make it to the Hawks.

He's up there with Duncan and Nowitzki, two former MVPs. Great player.

Duncan is up there with KG, while Gasol is up there with Nowitzki. :ghoti:

He didn't, Kobe had 32+/7/6 a game in the Finals? Something like that, about 28 PER. Gasol was respectable but even in that series Kobe had him.

I would make a post explaining Gasol's importance on the inside and with defense, but I don't wanna get banned arguing with a mod :lipssealed:

I don't confirm bans around here. The entire staff has input and veto power.

No one gets banned for arguing with a mod. They get banned for asking to get banned plus posting personal attacks in 50+ threads in just a few seconds. The banned guy mentioned someone he "respected" to me, well that person supported the ban as well. Don't start making up reasons, please.

Gasol was solid on defense, but Kobe locked up Melo after Ariza couldn't handle him and torched Denver the series before. Bryant deserved it.

Go ahead make your case I don't really care.

To make things simple, if we were to rate the person's importance to this team (in accordance to their role, position, etc.) it would be like:

    Kobe - 10/10
    Pau - 9/10
    Bynum - 7.5/10
    Odom - 7.5/10
    Artest - 7/10

Take Pau off this team, they can still win 55 games. Take Kobe out, they might win 47-49 games in the west.
