Heh. That sequence of tweets is pretty amusing.

"Denver wants Przybilla. I don't know what they'd be trading for him. I don't do that hypothetical trade which I don't know the details of."

I'm not seeing much that makes sense.

I'm sure Denver would LOVE to have Przybilla. However, the Blazers would be insane to trade him.

We could upgrade Blake's backup by trading Joel and Dre for Chauncey.

We are going nowhere this season. I'd trade him to Nuggs for the Birdman just to thwart the Lakers. Yes I hate the Lakers that badly.

Look at their roster they really don't have much that would make sense other than Lawson.

But Joel is our only Center and we already are severely thin up front.

If we could get Camby and Lawson in a 3-way deal involving the Clippers, I'd be fine.

We were supposed to be intelligent?

I thought smart-assed was good enough for the board.

Yeah, John, I'm sure that KP is real eager to part with a legitimate center given the shaky future of Greg Oden. And I'm absolutely certain he'd like to help out the team that we'll need to take down next season in order to win the Northwest Division. How the frick does this guy get paid for the drivel he dishes out?

if there's that kind of interest from anyone it's pretty much a given that joel will be opting out, and it won't be economically feasable for us to re-sign him. i could see him being traded at the deadline.

lawson is their PG of the future - might be #1 rookie if he got the minutes jennings and evans are getting. don't see him being available for anything we'd be likely to give up.

Oden's kneecap will make Joel a very rich man. If KP is unwilling to bend over - Joel will be leaving. :smiley-fist:

if at the deadline we're not a legitimate contender, and KP knows joel is opting out, and KP knows we're not planning on making a competetive offer (all distinct possibilites) it might make sense to get what we can.

if we trade him to a rival i would hope they would have to give up something pretty significant.

In this case, thank you for pointing the obvious and I retract my comment.

In the smart-ass category, can I enter with "The twit tweets... and the forum threads are flowing"...?
