There is just one problem - and it is not a small point:

Boozer is about to become an unrestricted free agent.

You can argue who is "better" all you want.

    It is moot. Wasted breath.

Boozer doesn't want to play for Utah - unless they crazy overpay him. They don't "own" him, thus they can't sell what they don't own.

Boozer is cap relief and a salary slot.

    Awesome!

What's proven more valuable to the Blazers then cap space!

    CBEC for the win.

I really don't care what Utah prefers.

Right now the players are a wash.

Utah wants Boozer to leave so they can get under the LT threshold. Acquiring LMA defeats their ultimate goal. It makes zero sense for Utah.

Yeah, me neither but you just said they would laugh at this and would probably OK with including Millsap instead of Boozer.

Wasted breath even though I start out saying that the deal doesn't work contract wise for either team....Boozer also doesn't have a problem playing in Utah, the thing he wants is a pay raise, which is ridiculous to pay with the injuries he's milked through the years. Seems like people commonly overlook what Boozer actually is looking for, and assume he'll leave everywhere he goes. If a team steps up and pays him, that's where he'll go to play. As of right now, there' s a good chance Utah decides to repair their relationship with him with the way Millsap has played this year.

Yeah Boozer is really the type of guy who will forget that management told him last summer that they prefer to go in another direction. That direction meaning "away from him". I am sure money was part of the reason, but lets face it, the dude is not well loved by anyone. Management is saying all the right things so they can trade him, and Boozer is "finally" saying all the rights things (After his infamous world tour) so he can get a big pay day from some one else. You are right he would stay in Utah if they were the only ones to offer him a big pay day, but they won't and neither would the Blazers. He is a prima donna.

No way would this deal go down! Webster still has tons of potential, Blake is a glue guy and Travis is best friends with Roy ...

*nod* It would really be trading Webster, Blake, Outlaw AND Roy, because I don't think we can expect Roy to be successful without Blake and Outlaw to make him comfortable.
