Wow our luck is bad. Real bad! I can't believe how many injuries we have this season. At least we won last night.

Welcome back Mags, up to last night it's been the toughest week in a long while. Needed the win badly and Bayless is looking good which we need too

What were the injuries you missed, Mags?

It's been brutal, that's for sure.

Just the Fernandez Injury. I was gone from the 7th-14th. Then I come back and saw we were only 3 games over 500. I was like "WTF?!?!?!"

Yeah Bayless looks good and Aldridge looks like he's taken his role of being the only inside scorer to a new level. Yes it's sacramento, but at least I saw his ass taking shots and still trying to shoot it in the paint. That's a great thing to see.

The biggest problem for Aldridge is that the team forget to keep going to him. They just have lapses where they don't go to him for like 10 minutes at a time. They fall in love with jumpers. It's funny becaue Bayless talked about that. He said they were taking too many jumpers so he knew he had to attack the rim.

Good for him! Seriously. The sooner we start getting in the paint with more efficiency, the better we will be. If Bayless is looking to attack the paint more, than maybe he's a better fit. I've noticed Roy going to the paint more as well. Regardless, I saw Aldridge taking some bumps and still turning around and taking the shot. Make or miss, we need that type of intensity down low. I noticed Aldridge getting to the line more often as well.

Yea that is interesting, because the Kings definitly are playing hard under their new coach. They are playing very physical, and working hard. The one thing I noticed though was in the second half, being a young team, they tightened up on offense big time, and couldn't execute. Part of that was a more intense Blazer effort on defense. Part of it was being a young team that hadn't been in those waters much and wasn't really confident. They have a lot of good pieces. They just need to hold it together and fine tune it a bit, and the Kings will be a decent team again in a year or two.

That's what I worry about so much with the Blazers. We are young and sometime we tighten up in the second half. I think Roy needs to really take the team on his shoulders in the 3rd and 4th quarters. I also think Aldridge really needs to demand the ball more when he sees his team chucking shots up in the second half. Good leadership isn't a popularity contest. It's making damn sure your team stays focus and with the game plan.

Do you know how much "data roaming" costs? It's like 3 bucks per data transfer. Following them would have costed me 100 bucks.

So in the spirit of the TrailBlazers, are you out for two week nursing a Margrita and Tequila straight shot hangover? :ghoti:
