Okay, I have a friend who works for clear. He gave me one month free, the second month half off and I had to pay for the third. Well I have had clear for about 5 or 6 months now and within the last week and half I would be dropped 2-3 times a day. Sometimes it would be 5 min, other times would be an hour and half. At one point I was dropped 3 times each day for 3 days straight. Its really getting annoying and I am thinking about going back to Comwack (comcast). I have a stationary computer at home and I don't use a laptop. I was even getting 5 light bars on their modem which is the best connection. I got dropped for about 2 min, 20 minutes ago while I was playing online. Very annoying. Anyone else have problems with them?

I tried it, got no reception whatsoever at my house. Worked great downtown tho. Too bad I already have fast internet at work.

Do you have Clear at home internet or the USB mobile internet? I had clear for a couple months and it was not bad for what it is. But you cannot expect the same performance you would get from a wired line as opposed to a wireless.

And don't expect gaming to be as smooth either.

how is it compared to Verizon/Sprint USB modems? I've done ok with those.

I have a friend who work at Clear who tells me "do not get it" . . . she is thinking of leaving because the product is crap and she has to deal with complaints constantly.
