Sad day for the NFL, the Bengals, and his family. It's never good when someone so young dies. Definitely shows how precious life is when someone who's all of 26 loses his life. RIP Chris Henry
Very sad. I've always been a fan of his, and I was happy to see him turning his life around. It sucks even more that he leaves a 3 year old, 2 year old, and a 10 month old behind. R.I.P Chris. They arrested his fiance last night @ the hospital. Hopefully they charge the bitch. Police said there was no visual damage to her face or body when they interviewed her, so they most likely ruled Chris out of hitting her. R.I.P Chris. I hope SD does the right thing and has a moment of silence on Sunday.
That would be a nice gesture to do, but I doubt it happens. A moment of silence will be observed. It is so sad, though. I'm all for them postponing the game.
You really got to feel for the Bengals this year. First, Mike Zimmers wife passes away and now Chris Henry? Not only that, he was actually on the verge of turning his life around. I send my condolences to the Bengals organization and everyone else involved. Very tragic.
I would say he had turned his life around. The dude was about to get married, had so much to live for. He's kept clean since being reinstated. Its just a damn shame, troubled lifestyle or not. Those 3 kids are now going to grow up with no father.
Homicide detectives have been signed to the case. There are two 911 calls to the public, one man and one woman. The Womans conversation was about her following the truck as Chris was in the back of the truck pounding on the glass window. The mans conversation was saying he sees Chris in the middle of the street dead. Chris Henry to his fiance: "If you take off Im going to hump off the truck and kill myself."
