Buffalo Braves or the San Diego Clippers. A question that vexes many NBA players, I am sure!

Why in the world would Portland bring in that fake superstar? He has been a loser his whole career and he always will be.

    No thanks.

I think it is all about how he is brought in and what is expected of him. McGrady is to the point of his career now where he isn't going to be the superstar on a team. But he sure as hell could be a vital cog. If you had buy in from him, and his minutes were limited so he wouldn't get injured again so easily, I could see it working out.

He isn't going to buy in. He may claim to but will soon be in the papers saying he isn't being used properly.

Not too soon after that his knee will flare up and he will shut it down for the season.

T-Mac is a quiter. He has been his whole career and it isn't going stop now.

That depends. While I know that many folks think that would be a better shot at a ring for him, I don't think so. If he signs with one of those teams, and then their star bolts, he is left sitting at the helm of another shitty team. Whereas if he signs here, he might have years to get together with this team, jel, and make a run at some rings, and, and top of it, probably not have to be the teams top scorer. Roy and Aldridge are locked up here for years. Wade and Lebron might leave at the end of this year, and frankly, I don't see him putting either team over the top. I think Cleveland fucked up getting Shaq. I think Miami has a bunch of guys that will have to overachieve just to make the playoffs. McGrady and Lebron play the same position. Many things don't add up. But they do in PDX.

I don't see the Rockets buying McGrady out until the trade deadline. They would benefit more by keeping their trade options available unless McGrady is willing to forgo multi-millions, and players never agree to give back that much.

With the injury bug this team has right now, he would be ruled out for the season before he even got off the plane.

I loved him when he was in ORL, but he's done.

I'm not sure he'd help us.
