At least we know its not just Portland fans that are disgusted with Blake's lack of athletic ability.

My favorite moment was during the post game interview with Cheryl Miller and you ACTUALLY saw Bayless SMILE!!!! That was great to see for the guy.

Blake frustrates me with his play making skills. But his defense is far from disgusting. Especially considering he is guarding the quickest player on every team.

Well, Cheryl Miller is enough for three or four meals.

Maybe I shouldn't have gone there.

I noticed the same thing. I consider myself somewhat of a Blazer junkie and catch most Blazer stuff on TV and in print. That is the most genuinely happy Bayless I have ever seen. It almost felt wierd not to see the serious face on him . . . but wierd only for a fraction of a second . . . mostly I just felt very happy for the kid . . . he looked like a kid at christmas.

Except for Andre. He was in the locker room before the streamers hit the floor.

Well when you're playing 17 minutes when you're used to playing 30+ minutes is frustrating.

That's funny at the end Bayless smiling at the Suns coach. My wife ask me why'd he smile at him. :)

A telling moment for me was when he was "genuinely" mad at himself for missing that free throw at the end. I could envision him talking to himself saying, "Sucka! You'd better not have the game of your career thus far...only to have Phoenix tie it up because of a stupid missed free throw!"

    Kid's growing on me. :rocky:

Webster was probably smiling about his own game, which has been overlooked in the rush to adore Bayless. It was one of Webster's best games ever.

Because his whole motivation was to look good for Arizonans, watching on TNT. (That's why this may have been a 1-game wonder.) And he said in an article a month ago that his best mentors while he lived there were the Suns coaches.

I sure hope you're wrong. I love the new Bayless, and I want to see more of it.

I bet Gentry was yelling in his ear while he was shooting.

That's unfair. Webster was very happy for Bayless all throughout the game (and in Bayless's 14-point game); the two of them look like they're close.
