j/k But, you know, when the Blazers win, or show hope of winning.............KP will back away from the phone. Now, I'm not a proponent of making a trade just to make a trade, but this PG situation has GOT to be resolved. To me, only a trade will address that. I'd rather that happen sooner than later.
why is a trade necessary to resolve things? i think it's pretty simple. for now all 3 play. when rudy is back, bayless and one of the other two play. their play in this period determines who gets the minutes. that doesn't mean the team shouldn't be exploring trade opportunities, but it isn't necessary. simply sit either blake or miller on the bench.
It's not. There is no team of misfit players. Nobody would take our castoffs and it's arrogant to assume another team would. Because some fans think a trade should happen doesn't mean it is even possible. Trades are pretty rare compared to how much some fans want one. Discussing a poor performing players need to be traded is silly and boring. Why would any team take a crappy player and give up a decent one? It has happened but is very seldom.
Sometimes, addition by subtraction is a reasonable solution. (see: Zach Randolph) Hey, I really love all our current players, I really do. I simply now see a glut at the position.
Zach was a blackhole but he didn't suck. Without him we may have struggled to win ten games. We got frye and Francis in return, both sucked more than zach. Trade a crappy player and you will get runny poop in return.
My whole point is, I believe there needs to be a reduction. Frankly, I don't care if we get a draft pick.
Would you give up a pick for Blake? Not me and I'd wager most wouldn't. Crap gets you crap. He can't be traded. He is d-league material not trade material.
