http://www.youtube.com/view_play_li...ry=2000 NBA Playoffs: Blazers at Lakers, Gm 2 Here is the entire game listed in several youtube clips. I'm sure you all agree with me that while we all know that game 7 is the most widely talked about and watched game in this series, we did win three games in good fashion. Game two was a blowout win in LA for us. This is just a good memory that I wanted to share. Hope you guys enjoy it.
And I just had a flashback watching this! I need help! There was a video made by a Blazer fan basically just showing the key moments and plays highlighting the Blazers. Music was added, and the last scene of the video was Steve Smith holding his one finger up in the RG after game six indicating one more game left with fans cheering in the background. The video was odd in the sense that it made you feel that the Blazers were the winners or the favorites in the series. But it still showed some great moments. I'm almost sure the title of the video had the word "Remember" in it. What was the name of this video, and where can I find it???? I used to have it years ago!!!
Ahhh yes . . . this was the game Phil Jackson said we were "running around like a bunch of jackals" after the game. This was the 3rd time since 1990 that the Blazers won a Finals or WCF Game 2 on the opponents home floor to steal home court, only to end up losing the series. That has to be some kind of record. Detroit 1990 Chicago 1992 LA 2000
Well then you are going to get much support in this thread, friend. Not a lot of positive feelings about the 2000 WCF in this group.
This was a great game. I got it on tape somewhere, but I never enjoyed watching a game on TV from Staples ever. Sheed was doing it all.
Also, may I highly recommend part 9/13 of the video. It was just fantastic. My man Smith was lighting it up.
Even though we lost the series... What a great series! Such a high level of basketball, between two GREAT teams. Both of those teams would have had their way with the majority of the championship teams from the years since. That Laker team is, IMO, one of the strongest championship teams in the last few decades. And that Blazer team basically had them beat.
Watching Pippen play is just an absolute treat. He wasn't all there athletically at this point in his career, but OMG did he know how to play the game.
I was at the game. Very exciting night. Sat in 7th row and was shown on TV. The TV people actually cued me when to cheer, in one instance. The fans around me were really mad and threw ice at me but it hit other Laker fans instead. Security was getting upset with me and I was worried that I'd be ejected. What a night. First playoff game I had ever attended.
we were so deep that team was craaaaazy. jermaine oneal never saw the court because the guys in front were better, period.
