How many games of this crap do we as fans need to see? Is he even trying? That's my biggest concern right now. I don't think he even cares if the team wins or doesn't win.

And in Philly, they are probably saying right now that The Answer is not Andre Miller.

They are probably saying the Answer is Andre Miller, at least if losing a first round series is the baseline.

I thought we needed a Miller thread to offset the BLANKY threads.

    1 assist/4 TOs. Wow.

Way to call out one of the three players that showed up to play tonight. Sad and predictable.

    Who had the worst +/-?

Miller is failing at PG. Is he done as a decent PG? He can't guard anyone, and he doesn't seem interested in changing his game as he gets older.

You realize the team shot 37%, right? He can't control whether Martell misses every wide open look he gets. Nobody on the team had more than 1 assist, including Roy, and Roy averages the most assists on the team.

Roy/Miller/Przy were the only players to show up tonight. They could have used some help.

Let me tell you who "The Answer" isn't, Anthony Tolliver. I can't believe Nate is wasting him on the bench.

Andre Miller historically starts off the year slow due to coming into camp overweight, and gradually plays himself into shape. This isn't quite working in Portland as good as it did in Philly simply due to the fact he isn't playing. Everywhere he has played through his career, the guy has been "The Man" @ PG, but he has competition for once in his career. Not only does he not compliment the stars on Portland, but hasn't come into Portland sharp physically, or mentally, only has thrown a monkey wrench into the works for Portland. I never thought adding Andre Miller was an upgrade, for you guys, and I actually thought it would make you guys a bit worse coming into the season. If you guys did add a guy like Hedo, it would of helped much more since he can do everything Miller does and more, which mainly includes shooting.

Seems like Miller's fault for coming into camp fat at age 33 without a resume of playoff success.

What a horrible signing by Pritchard. Really, it's the first thing that I can really criticize him for so far in his tenure.

That's a huge indication that he's no playmaker. :tsktsk:

Funny how players always shoot well when Sergio passes them the ball.

    It's perplexing.

Miller is a veteran with a very good reputation as a playmaker. Too good to look like this. Therefore, I have to conclude it's a combination of all the injuries and poor coaching in that Nate has no real direction for this team. We also have to take into account Roy doesn't want to play with Miller because Roy hates an up tempo game.

I'm sorry, are you talking about Miller or Aldridge?

What's ironic is that Miller's only assist came via a Blake 3ptr.

Miller definitely doesn't fit here. He needs to find a team that runs with some tall athletic players that make cuts to the basket that he can lob the ball to. Not going to get many assists throwing the ball to a bunch of poor shooting jump shooters that may or may not take a shot.

The fact that you're a Toronto fan desperate to unload your unwise purchase doesn't affect your judgment at all, oh no.

Tell you what: we'll swap the players if we keep the Miller contract and you keep the Hedo contract.
