i said this in the pre season and with our injury prone "franchise center".... resigning Joel is the key to any future success we have. Joel and Oden are the best 1+2 punch in the NBA.

I mean can you imagine starting Howard at center next year lol? Wait im sure KP would rather do that then make a trade. Such a pansy ass GM its not funny.

I can imagine it, yes. I don't think it'll happen, but it is within my power to imagine. I have strong imagination skills!

Depends on the trade. I'm sure Pritchard would prefer to start Howard at center than trade Roy, Aldridge, Batum, Fernandez and Bayless for Shavlik Randolph. But I think he'd rather trade Tolliver for LeBron James than start Howard at center.

If it isn't funny, why do you "lol" so much?

Well, you just don't like anyone, do you? :(

So it IS funny. You just said it wasn't. That was my confusion.

Pritchard has hitched his star to Howard...he'll be defined by his big Howard signing. He's bet his career on it and I believe it was a smart bet. Howard has real upside and he's going to be a star, you'll see.

Oh gimme a break. We'll re-sign Joel this offseason, and then you'll do nothing but bitch about how we wasted oney on an aging backup, when we had more pressing needs. And as Oden improves, and plays mroe and more, you'll whine about how we're paying our backup C X amount of dollars for 18 minutes a night.

Every quarter the Blazers have outrebounded their opponent since Greg went down, they have won. This is no mystery. The team doesn't run for easy buckets, so the only way they can win is to rebound and get more posessions. If they don't get them, there chances of winning drop through the toilet.

Joel is a glue guy. :P It's going to be really hard to keep him in Portland. Other teams are just waiting for his free-agency to offer a nice deal. Hopefully KP will offer more to keep him here. We need to make sure that Oden can play a full season without injury before we say goodbye to Pyz. I would even rather have him stay on the team until he retires. The city loves him.

For sure, I hope he retires here.
