There is no stab at Lebron James. Its simple, who had a better rookie season? And I honestly dont know.....even though everyone is saying Chris Paul, Lebron still had a good rookie season. I will say Chris Paul just because of the teams record.

Unlike Lebron his team was horrible and he had hardly anything to work with. In the preseason rankings the Hornets were always ranked as one of the three lowest teams. He ends up leading his team to mediocracy and in playoff contention most of the season, puts up numbers no one expected, and put up some of the best overall numbers I have ever seen from a undersized rookie PG. I gotta go with Paul on this.Edit: lol sorry I never noticed how old this topic is. Someone can delete this post if they want.

Chris Paul just because he wasn't expected to be anywhere near this good. Especially with the Hornets. So I say Paul wins due to leading a worse team to a better record. Less Turnovers.

This topic is just a useless stab at Lebron James. How about next year we compare who had the better sophomore season, and see if the answer is still Chris Paul?Lebron was 18 and 19 throughout his rookie year, and his numbers were phenomanal for a rookie of any age. Chris Paul was 20, and 21, and he went through a year of college, so he was obviously more prepared for the NBA.

ONLY rookie season, I don't see anyone taking stabs at LeBron

No one here said anythign about who will have a better sophmore season or who will have the better career. I don't think this is a stab at LeBron because we really don't have any LeBron haters here. We have more people here that are on his dick than haters.

i still think lebron had a better year. Not only did he put up some good stats, he did it with the expectations of the entire planet hoping he would bust like kwame. With all that pressure he still went bl**dy great.

I would have to say Chris Paul, i think he just made more of an impact his first year. But I think LeBron will have the better career...
