Bulls were up by 35 but VDN couldn't find minutes for JJ or Gray? A seven man rotation?

    They were up by 35?

Have the Bulls crossed out of whatever mental funk they were in?

At least I don't think we'll be seeing Salmons taking the game tying 3 with 8 seconds left this time.

I feel bad for Bulls fans around the World, huge downfall from the team that had MJ for a decade.

unbelievable. or maybe not for the bulls. But VDN should be fired for this one. 4 guys played 39+ minutes in a game where the bulls led by 20 for 2/3 of the game. And the bulls lost because Sacramento made all of the hustle plays down the stretch. What the fuck is Vinnie thinking? JJ, Gray and Hunter or Pargo should have all gotten at least 10 minutes.

It's insane how poorly coached that game was. 7 guys played... And they'll lose tomorrow night because they have nothing left. Maybe Vinnie was looking forward to getting fired. How do you not go deep into your bench when you are up 35?

I think the bulls scored 15 points in the last 19 minutes of the game. I think they had 83 points with 7 minutes left in the third. Vinnie must be suffering from post traumatic stress from last years playoffs because he's coaching way too many games like it's game 7 and the bulls are down by 4 with two minutes left in the fourth for the whole game.

They were playing tremendous basketball. They dominated the first 2.5 quarters. Vinnie is brain dead. Somebody please shoot me.

The bench players Vinne did play were +/- = -21 and -9. They were the only two quality bench players on the roster.

Denny, please stop not watching the game and telling what happened from the boxscore at the end. If I wanted that I'll ask Hollinger. Both of those guys were + double digits midway through the 3rd. The bulls top seven can play with 25 of the thirty teams in the league on any given night if they don't have to play an extra 5-10 minutes more than the other side. The reason guys like Brockman were effective at the end is because the bulls were gassed. You can't tell me that Brockman or Donte Green is a better rebounder than Noah. But Noah was dragging at the end of the third already, and the bulls couldn't even get a free throw rebound at the end. It was stupid.

I missed the game, i was watching the stream but they were up by like 20 so I stopped watching cuz of the lag. But what the fuck just happened? I assumed they won and when I went to check my fantasy basketball I saw an article saying Kings come back from 35 to stun Bulls....I'm flabbergasted.

Is there a reason why Vinny has a job still? This team seems to have checked out already. I think it's about time for Pax to can Vinny and come out of the press box and attempt to fix the mess he's created.

The Kings did what they had to to come back from a huge deficit. They took and made a lot of 3's. I don't see how Aaron Gray was going to prevent that.

It's hard to rebound when so many of their shots are going in, and it's also hard to rebound when your head isn't up.

We are not good enough to take a minute off, let alone a half,” Del Negro told the NBA’s official Web site. “We stopped being aggressive, stopped going to the basket. You let teams back in games, they get their confidence up.”

Chicago had seven turnovers in the final 12 minutes and 18 overall after not giving it away once in the first quarter. The Bulls were outscored 28-6 over the final 10:15.

“I think we relaxed,” said Luol Deng(notes), who scored 25 of his 26 points by the 10:39 mark of the third quarter. “I’m not sure what happened offensively, but defensively we just relaxed. We were making mistakes defensively and we were just not aggressive and that carries over to the offense.”

I think you highly overrate the Bulls top 7. If they could play with 25 of the 30 teams on any given night, we'd be well above .500, instead of losing to teams like the Nets, choking on a 35 point lead with 20 mintues to go...etc. This is not a good team, and the top 7 is certainly not that good. If they were, our record would be flip-flopped and we wouldn't be getting blown out consistently.

The one saving grace the Bulls have is that they play in the East. They can make the playoffs with the horrid roster that they have because they're only going to need 34 wins or so this year.
