Didn't you know it's biologically impossible for some fans to hear someone say complimentary things about another teams player, without thinking that it's some kind of slight against their teams player?

Evans is good, and Brandon Roy's talent level or "stardom" isn't impacted by that.

I'm really liking Evans, and me saying that doesn't take anything away from Brandon imho.

    I said "BRoy from 06."

AKA. I'd take the rookie Evans over the rookie Roy.

I saw him play at Memphis and I didn't think he was that great. I thought his lack of shooting range would hinder him more than it has.

    Hindsight 20/20 MIX.

If all of our forwards were healthy, Ime would never see the floor. If we kept Ime & cut Mills . . . and Mills pops up for somebody else reeking havoc like he did in the Olympics you'd say KP was an idiot for giving up a PG prospect for a bench player at our deepest position.

I admit, I was hoping they would cut Udoka and keep Mills.

I can only imagine if the Kings had done this to the Blazers -- suicide watch in full effect.

I'm not going to lie, he probably could right now since Sacramento's up and coming core might just be a tad bit better in terms of potential. The only thing missing is a shotblocker like Blazers have w/ Pryz & Oden. Don't forget Kevin Martin is coming back soon, and both would be hard to cover.

Compare Sergio's blue bar to the graph of the score below it. He enters the 3rd quarter when his team is at its lowest point in the graph, gets 5 assists and 5 points (that's 16 points--1 was a 3-pointer assist) and when he comes out, his team has outscored the Bulls by 18 points. That's 16 of the 18 points.

His +/- per minute was 3rd best on his team tonight. Udoka was 5th.

    ---------------------
    His effectiveness per minute was best for both teams (1.295 = 25.9 / 20). 2nd best was Udoka (1.19 = 27.3 / 23).

Anybody watch the Cleveland vs Phoenix game? If there was everf a prime example of why a running team won't win in the playoffs, that game was it.

What about the "Showtime" Lakers? Or are you saying in our current era?

Phoenix was close in their hay day, but they don't have the same talent they did 3 or 4 years ago. They went to the WCF a couple of times. Their best shot was 2007 IMO, and they didn't even make the WCF. 2nd round series vs SA (recently ranked as 2nd best playoff series of the decade) that year was incredible, and the Suns got JOBBED big time. The Spurs manhandled Nash, and the suspension of Stoudamire & Diaw cost them the series. Had they won this series, they win it all. Utah was lucky to get to the WCF, and Cleveland was one dimensional coming from the JV conference.

Yeah, if only we didn't have to settle for 28 points on 11-14 shooting. He's really regressing.

Kings biggest comeback ever was keyed by 3 former Blazers (Sergio, Ime, Brockman), Donte Green and Beno Udrih.

Even the showtime Lakers got shut down by the slow down Pistons and Chicago Bulls before their time was done. You seem to have forgot that.

    :tsktsk:

Well you can't win EVERY year. They won 5 rings and were w/o a doubt the team of the 80's.
