There are rumors that Shay Given wants to leave City. He would be fantastic replacement for Almunia and a good buy for any club.

Eden Hazard should definitely be on Wenger's Christmas list:

Manuel Neuer is available, reportedly. The 23-year old German would be a good long-term replacement for Almunia.

    - Arsenal target Rafael van der Vaart is committed to Real Madrid and won't be looking for a move this January.
    - Former Gunner and current City skip Kolo Toure is miserable and looking for a move, preferably to Spain, as soon as possible.
    - Stan Kroenke and Alisher Usmanov are both getting closer to having enough shares to instigate a take-over bid for the franchise. Usmanov has urged Kroenke to come forward and iterate his intentions.

    - Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is under pressure from the club's shareholders to spend big in January. Wenger wants to bring in a striker and West Ham's Carlton Cole, Andre-Pierre Gignac of Toulouse and Bordeaux's Marouane Chamakh have all been linked with the Gunners. Because Chamakh can be had on a free transfer this summer it seems unlikely he'll switch teams in January.
    - Old foes Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger are set to fight it out for the signature of Belgian wunderkind Eden Hazard.
    - Wenger would consider signing a player ineligible for Champion's League play if the bargain was right, which has led some to conclude that he's willing to make a run at Edin Dzeko of Wolfsburg, who are out of the CL and far off pace in the Bundesliga.

    - Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is keeping tabs on striker Craig Bellamy should new Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini ditch the Wales international in January's transfer window. However, Redknapp must sell before he can buy, with Roman Pavlyuchenko the likely candidate to fund Bellamy's arrival.
    - Barcelona striker Thierry Henry is another on City's radar, with the Spanish club open to offers for the 32-year-old France international.

    - Wenger will step up his bid to sign 15-year-old QPR striker Raheem Sterling.
    - Everton will face competition from Arsenal and Manchester United to sign 17-year-old Belgian winger Maxime Lestienne. The Excelsior Mouscron star has been offered a trial after being recommended by Toffees midfielder Marouane Fellaini.
    - Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh has told reporters he will finish this season with his current club but is moving on a free transfer this summer, possibly to Arsenal.
    - Spartak Moscow are interested in reuniting with Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko and are willing to offer goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa in a deal to sign him.
    - AC Milan is interested in Arsenal goalkeeper Vito Mannone.
    - Blackburn wish to sign Marseille midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa on loan for the rest of the season. Manchester United and Arsenal have also expressed interest in buying the youngster.

Raheem Sterling -- This guy is the real deal and needs to be bought. My uncle is a diehard QPR fan and constantly praises the kid. There were rumors that we were paying 5m sterling + Jay Simpson on a permanent switch for Sterling.

Maxime Lestienne -- I know close to nothing about the guy.

Marouane Chamakh -- I really think we should go for him. He has the height, and can finish. Why not?

Roman Pavlyuchenko -- Meh, he's a good player, but I'm not sure he can adapt to the English play. He can't seem to make his own chances.

    Vito Mannone
-- Keep him unless the price is right.

Hatem Ben Arfa -- Good player, and could be a direct replacement for Walcott unless he steps his game up.

    - Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has made a £3.5m swoop for Fluminese's Brazilian wonder-kid Wellington Silva, who impressed on a recent trial at the Emirates, but he will not be able to join the Gunners until he turns 18 in January 2011.
    - Rumours Arsenal is preparing a loan offer for Real Madrid's Dutch international striker Klass-Jan Huntelaar that originally surfaced in the summer have not gone away. Huntelaar's agent is going to give Madrid an ultimatum in early 2010--play him or let him go. Tottenham and Manchester United have also expressed interest.
    - West Ham have sent out an email begging their fans to attend their third-round FA Cup tie against Arsenal after struggling to sell tickets for Sunday's game.
