I think they're giving him a chance to get Tyrus Thomas back since this REALLY bad play started when he went out IMO.

BTW -- This team would be perfect for an Avery Johnson, good mentor for Rose too.

I can see that, but boy, when I look at last night, and then I consider they're gonna be tired tonight and playing a rested Knicks team, I see a blowout coming.

Of course, I was just wondering yesterday if they'd turned a corner.

I'm surprised he hasn't been fired today after last night's historic collapse. The fans booed the team off the court. I think the fans would appreciate a XMAS present at the expense of Vinny being let go at this point.

Get Avery Johnson in there and let him work his magic with this team.

Coaching changes mid-season don't really help for the short term. The Bulls might be better off waiting until the last 3rd of the season to make a move, just to get the new coach a chance to see what the players can do (the ones who might remain on the team).

I wonder if tonight's loss was bad enough to put em over the edge.

A more interesting question is who on the Bulls is old but useful to some playoff contender that we can cut a day after he is no longer eligible to sign and play in the playoffs?

    Brad Miller?

    Another tradition.

I should have stuck tomorrow and Christmas Eve together in the poll. Oh well.

I can see Miller gone. Apparently, if you believe Ric Bucher (on ESPN's home page), Reinsdorf thinks this is a playoff team, so perhaps he's not ready to throw in the towel.

Jerry said there'd be no PT for Gordon, too. Obviously we could have used him the last two games.

Jerry is deluded, but hurt pride will often lead to more changes than benign neglect. Or in his case, malignant neglect.

    True.

I think a good poll would be whether Rose decides to sign the QO and go the UFA route like Gordon did, when the time comes. I wouldn't be shocked in the least.

I voted Christmas Eve, so hopefully I get a nice Christmas present there.

He needs to go though. He's lost this team and we need a guy who can motivate this team and get them to play hard, and I do think that guy could be Avery.

And hopefully that coach can teach John Salmons what a good shot is while he's at it.
