Get well Joel. That looked bad. So how realistic is it for John Wall now? Who else is any good besides that Xavier guy from Kansas? Cole Aldrich? Greg Monroe would be good. As well, Ed Davis. I don't really know any other good big men prospects. Favors looks good too. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas for Draft now? Can we bring anyone over from Europe?
That was priceless, I'm not gonna lie. I check the Blazer game during a timeout from the Vegas bowl just in time to see that happen... I really can't say I didn't expect it, because I did. I have had a weird feeling for over a week that he was gonna get hurt also. What a disaster of a season...
Should make this a thread to post updates on what his status is and what exactly happened (medically, anatomically or whatever).
Okay, I will try to get any and as much info as I can (others too) and make this a Joel Update thread. It looked really, really bad. And judging by how he reacted, how angry he was, beating on the floor with his fists, tears almost in his eyes, he knew it was bad. It almost looks worse then Odens knee injury. He basically did the same thing as Oden. Jumped in the air, fell down. It looked like the lower half of his leg just broke in half and shot up his thigh 5 inches. He SCREAMED "OOOUUCH OOOOUUUCCCHHH" and you could see him calling for Jay. Looking over to the bench, "Jay, come here." Jay threw the towel on Joels knee so he didn't have to see how bad it was.
I think I am going to lay down now. It will be ok in the morning....................man that looked bad on the replay.
Ruptured patella tendon and patella dislocation. It is worse than Odens injury. He is out for the season.
