true, hes the 2nd leading scorer in the playoffs with 31 a game and hes lead his team to a 3-0 record, something that none of these players can say

Dirk averages 30+ on the playoffs so far, and he's not even in the poll. Very very odd

I agree, he deserves to be on there just as much as anyone. How is Wade even a choice? [IMG]

Yeah, but those guys were still good. Well, LeBron's game-winner was a travel, and his Game 2 had a 10 turnovers. As for Gilbert, he trails 2-1. Shaq has done more than Wade in this series, at least in Game 1.But Dirk has also been the most clutch. Arenas missed a wide-open three, and LeBron traveled on his game-winner.

He's not considered clutch, because the Mavs are expected to win the series, in a sweep most likely.Plus there has really only been one close game in this series. The Mavs haven't gotten respect, and it'll stay that way till we beat the Spurs, or win a title...anything else, and they'll just be regular season champs and that's it.

Yeah, but Miami is nowhere near the level of Dallas's level, is it?Dirk deserves more recognition.People only dwell on his last year's playoffs, but he has the best playoffs so far this year.

Well why do people always say Nash is MVP and never talk about his defensive lack of ability, and when they talk about Dirk, say he's a good offensive player, but needs to improve defense???

Yeah that is true. Also I don't understand when people the Suns would be nothing without Nash but don't think the same with Dirk even though he has a higher +/- ratio than Nash. It is a double standard.

^Yeah there is a major double standard here. It's like Dallas had to have a 14 game win streak to really become the trendy pick to win it all and get talked about...I didn't really start hearing about the win streak and how good a team they were till about 10 games in.On the other side, when the Nets had their great win streak this season...they were being hyped up as a great team that could challenge Detroit and Miami for Eastern dominance about 7-8 games in...when clearly they aren't even close to the team Dallas is.But like someone said before...this is Dallas, so we should be used to it.

It's okay, though. Dirk showed the people who didn't vote MVP for him the reason why he should be MVP.Plus, Nash might not even make it to the next round!!

Alrite, if Dirk wasn't in Game 3, who would hit that game-winner? Dirk was either made every 3 or had the pass leading to the 3 in Game 3, and in Games 1 and 2, he provided 31 each!!

You never brought it up that I remember. A +/- ratio is even more impressive if you are on a winning team. The sixers aren't though so I got mixed feelings on +/-

Dude, the Mavs would trail 0-3 if it weren't for Dirk.
