This article is BS if you ask me. The injuries we've had would decimate any team, but now we are suppose to prove how deep we are? We ask for it? What BS! link
Why do people still take Bleacher Report seriously? It's as valuable as a message board rant. The author has every right to say it, but there's no reason to take it any more seriously than something posted at LakersGround.
What an arrogant blog writer. Perhaps he should whine about not beating Portland in our house with our "one" all star player for several years now. What a stuck up piece of shit.
I thought it was a article, didn't realize when I first read it that it was just a blog type post by someone. I see that now though. I was going to comment, but didn't want to sign up to do it. Wasn't worth it considering that it's just some guy's rant as you said.
His points are valid and I seem to agree with most of them; we have only one real all-star, LMA is good but not an all-star, our depth isn't exactly what it's made out to be, etc. Just probably stings a bit more coming from a Laker fan and his liberal use of the word "arrogant". Either way, judging from his reply in the comments, he's willing to back up his argument... so flame away. We seem to be doing pretty well despite our injuries.. so far.
Well its not like this blog writer compared Portland to its young talent to other teams in the league. Oh wait, Portland made the playoffs last year, so I guess we didn't have talent and just had one all star?
Why post a link to something a Laker fan wrote? I am stupider for having read the quote from that article.
what I don't understand is why people would take offense to us saying "we are the deepest team in the league." How is that annoying or irritating to anyone? I don't get that. Guy #1 "Hey guys, our team is pretty deep. We have a lot of young guys at a lot of positions." Guy #2 "That was annoying. Dick."
We've beaten Phoenix, Miami and Dallas in the last week, despite losing half our roster. How is our depth not exactly what it's made out to be? Point me to one other team that could handle this much attrition and still be winning tough games on the road?
