Have you seen the schedule? Even with a full compliment of healthy bodies .500 was probably going to be a tough road. I'm not saying they can't but it's looking pretty grim.

I think we are really gonna struggle. Joel was huge for us.

Yes, because now our offense and defense will change with all of these new (returning) players, and I think for the better.

It all rides on Roys shoulder. I voted yes since we don't know anything negative yet.

For potentially the first time, I can point to a MIXUM post and say "what he said".

    Hello darkness, my old friend
I voted yes, and I was assuming Roy doesn't miss much, or any, time. The team has still been gutting out wins and is still talented. A Roy/Aldridge/Miller threesome is still a very good one, Bayless has been adding a lot of value and Rudy will be back soon. It's an incredibly thin team now, which is where the guts come in. They've been thin for a while, and they still keep winning. I think they can keep the train on the rails if Roy remains healthy.

Joel was the backbone of this team. Seeing him go out was so depressing. Especially in a contract year. That guys deserves more. I still say yes because we have BRoy. Rudy is due back soon and Pendy should be in game shape in the next few weeks. I think we can get some wins.

If Lamarcus and Roy put up 50 a game we will be in pretty much every game. Games like last night worry me though. The team sometimes just forgets to keep going to Aldridge. He had 17 points at half time, and then ends up with 19 for the game, and they didn't even go to him in the second half until 2 minutes into the fourth quarter. He scored, and that was it for the game. When a guy only misses two shots in the first half, you don't stop going to him. That is one reason IMO why Aldridge will not be an all star. The team doesn't use him for 4 quarters. If they did, he would have 30 point games a lot more often. But they don't.

Assuming they get back by march 1st, their schedule can lend them to stay at .500; BUT they need Pendergraph and Howard and Dante to all step up. Perhaps I am getting overly ambitious...

    When our SF's get back?

Dude, the three/four is the least of our problems with both our centers out.

We still have the talent to win games, we just can't have people taking nights off and expecting someone else to pick up the slack. The margin for error is gone completely.
