its about who ya know. Your footage is pretty nice though..... I just want to practice with it. we'll see whassup. I've used a monopod before...works ok but you really need to move around since there are lots of scrub techs, etc and you can't contaminate any surfaces, touch anything, etc.
It could help you if you are standing behind the doctor and want to film from his perspective. Raise camera and monopod up behind his head and tilt down to see the patient. Also it is less invasive to hold a camera on a stick over the operating table than it is to hold it there with your arm. Anyway, it was just a suggestion.
Yeah. I'll see how they are. for general shooting it would be good though. I'll play around with one again if I buy this thing. The thing with shooting surgeries is the tiring factor of holding it up for minutes in a weird position while they suture or something.
Anyone know if any of the new flip cams or any other brands do time lapse shots? Or is that typically a camera thing?
New Sony DSC-TX7 10.2MP Camera that came out the other day. Supposed to be an amazing. shoots video in 1080p. Has a feature that shoots 10, 10.2mp quality pictures, in one second. $399.
