Von Wafer returns

    Wafer is signing with the Rockets. I assume it will be a non-guaranteed deal, or for the minimum (prorated).

    He heard he had to pay $1.4M buyout to get out of his contract and back in the NBA. I'd have to imagine he has a guaranteed deal with the Rockets after shelling out that type of money.

    I'm confused though, just a few days ago it was reported he's signing with the Grizzlies.

    He failed his physical with the Grizzlies. And, lo and behold, it looks like he's also failed his physical with the Rockets. We're picking up Mike Harris instead.

    Tough break for Wafer.

    Wow this turned out to be an idiotic move by Wafer. I wonder what part of his physical he failed? Hopefully he took out an insurance policy to make up the $1.4M he had to outlay with the buyout.
