Well as a 14 year old, that would be my choice. I havent exactley matured itno a parent or guardian yet. So that would be my choice as of right now.
If my child told me that he/she was gay I would probably be a little upset. As hard as people are trying to make homosexuality part of the norm, it is still socially unacceptable and quiet embarrassing.I do not agree with homosexually personally, but if my child was homosexual I would have to support and love him/her the same as I always did. It would still be my child and part of my life. But honestly, it is something that you really can't think ahead of. You really won't know how you will react unless it happens to you, which I hope it never does. In the end I guess you would realize that it is not that big of a deal and move on.
I'd probly be kinda dissapointed cuz I'd never be a grandparent, but aside from that, I wouldn't care. It's not a disease, it's a sexual preference. There's nothing wrong with it.
Considering none of us have children it's impossible to know, if you did have a child that you love and raised you would think completly different than most of you guys (16 or so and in HS). For most parents it's a shock but they get over it and love their child regardless. For me, it would hurt because I wouldn't have grand children from him or her but other than that it would be okay.
