New School Rap blows. Ever since Tupac faked his death, rap has gone downhill. Run-DMC, Tupac, Public Enemy, you know where I'm going with this.I like those artists, but I like Rock more.System of a Down, Jimmy Eat World, POD, Relient K, Avenged Sevenfold, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, and All American Rejects, but the list goes on and on.But I do sort of like Kanye West

You cannot leave 2PAC out as one of the best rappers. Why? Well, if you look at the 15 most essential rap albums to own for any hip-hop/rap fan, three of them would be by 2PAC. These three albums would be Me Against the World, which didn't make any beef with any other rappers or talk like a fake gangster, but about personal struggles, along with every song in the album being addicting, The Seven Day Theory: The Don Killuminati, which has a fresh set of beats, ancient and wisdom-like songs such as Hail Mary and Krazy, and even the famous diss track, Against All Odds. And do not forget All Eyez on Me. Unfortunately, 2PAC's style in All Eyez on Me is the most-mimicked today, from 50 Cent to Ja Rule, and All Eyez on Me had excellent beats, but unfortunately, evil-minded rappers today have used methods of all-beat, no-cool lyrics.
I agree that hip-hop today is very producer driven and that artists are basically interchangeable, but you can't force your Tupac loving on all of us.
