Re: Who's playing the best so far? I think the obvious choice is probably Dallas, bc they haven't lost a game. But second place (tied) is LA.. both of them.
Re: Who's playing the best so far? Well I think the Lakers are playing great, simply because they are playing THEIR game, and not being forced into PHX's up tempo style that most teams fall into the trap of playing. But of course Dallas is with the almost sweep against a very good, tough, and physical 5 seed in the West. But to be honest, they've only had one great performance, in game one, with a subpar game that they basically slept walked to the win in game two, don't let the score fool you. I actually think Dallas's game 3 win was the most impressive, as they were playing down the whole time, and never got in a panic mode, and came back and won that game in OT.All the other series are pretty much back and forth games...with the other LA team, I think as the favorites in that series even though Denver is the #3 seed.
Re: Who's playing the best so far? It would've been Detroit AND Dallas for me, but Detroit got killed. It's Dallas at first, and at second, hmz... probably the Clippers.Individually, the best are Dirk and LeBron, but don't leave out Kobe. He's facing a much tougher team than Dirk or LeBron.

Re: Who's playing the best so far? Well, "so far" means all 3 games, and LeBron had 10 turnovers in Game 2.

Re: Who's playing the best so far? Team: Dallas Mavericks, they are just on fire. No one can stop tha offensive juggernaut of Dirk, Terry, Howard, etc...Player: Lebron. Despite his lack of performance in Game 2, he is still playing phenomanally well. Besides, his teammates werent even there in Game 2. Way to take the pressure off the 21 year old But come on, he has just been unstoppable, offensively. He will drive and get a bucket whenever he feels like it, basically. His court vision is amazing, he is able to get his teammates into the game, simply by finding them nice looks. I know Im jumping on the Lebron bandwagon.
Re: Who's playing the best so far? Team your're right, along with the Lakers and what they are doing to the Suns.Players, would be Dirk, Bron, and Kobe.Brong has been great these playoffs, but Dirk has been clutch, and unstoppable agianst a great defensive team. I beleive the Grizz had the #1 defense, and Shane Battier is one of those "smaller" guys that is "Supposed" to give Dirk problems.
Re: Who's playing the best so far? Battier never gave Dirk problems. It was Marion, Bowen, and Mcgrady. There isn't a type of player that gives Dirk as much as how well that player anticipates Dirk's moves.
Re: Who's playing the best so far? Okay, well, I was making a point that Battier is one of those types of players that are supposed to give him issues, and don't.I actually think that's a misconception anyways.I mean Dirk has proven this year that guys like Bowen and Marion can't hold him down, unless HE's the one that's off in a game.I think McGrady can play him well because he's just so athletically gifted...not because he's a great defender.

Re: Who's playing the best so far? I don't know what that guys is talking about either...maybe he thinks the Spurs are the best team...but I don't know.
Re: Who's playing the best so far? <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Universe @ Apr 30 2006, 06:41 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Spurs by a mile.</div>What a horrible pick. They are one lucky bounce away from being DOWN 2-1.Also, Gilbert Arenas and Michael Redd have been playing well, although their team's are down. And what about the bulls' guys?? These are their stats through the first 3 games:Ben Gordon: 24 ppg, 3.3 apg, .421 3-pt %.Kirk Hinrich: 23.3 ppg, 8.7 apg, .538 3-pt %.Andres Nocioni: 22.3 ppg, 10.2 rpg, .560 fg %.Tim Thomas and Lamar Odom are also playing very well for their standards.
Re: Who's playing the best so far? I would like to just add Bonzie Wells to this discussion...I don't know his stats exactly, but TNT just showed them...and I was like "WOW!"Just to stir it up a bit more. He's the reason the Kings won tonight.
Re: Who's playing the best so far? Right now it is the only team that hasn't lost in the postseason the Mavericks, but later it will be the Pistons.
Re: Who's playing the best so far? What does that mean man?The Piston may be the best team in the playoffs, but right now they aren't playing the most impressive basketball...I'd say the Mavs, and Lakers are actually. And the Kings are making a run on it now.
