...,we'd be 21-11, leading the division (Nuggs would be 19-11), and we'd be in third place in the conference despite all the injuries. See what I mean? 1 home loss to a divisional foe can hijack your season. The only way for us to correct it is to get one in their building.
Am I the only one who remebers two blazers a minute before him both going 1/2 from the line... wasnt' just greg that game.
He's right guys. If Oden hit those free throws with 4 seconds left, there is absolutely no way in hell Carmelo, Billups or JR Smith could have hit a shot to beat us. I mean 4 seconds is barely enough time to catch and shoot in the NBA, and with those scrubs I mentioned? Please. And if any Blazer had hit one more FT in ATL Rudy's 3 woulda won the game instead of sending it to OT. We should be 22-10, realistically.
I hope you're joking because Roy beat houston last year with .6 seconds. And 'Melo has hit game winners in the past. Its not unheard of....
If Blake had played just half as good as an NBA player the first part of the season.... Had Assclown inserted Miller into the starting unit from day one....
that loss had nothing to do with Odens free throws at the end it was all the 1-2 bonus free throws portland shot in the third Quarter.
That was Roy's fault, remember. It was posted here by more than a few people that Roy should never have put Oden in that position at the end of a close game. I mean, how dare Roy put a once-in-a-generation player in position to win a game? How selfish of Roy!!! One of my better memories of S2 this season.
.8 And if Oden hits the free throws, we have a chance to win. But he didn't so we had no chance. Doesn't matter what anyone did up to that point. If he hits those two, we're good.
NOTHING? If he hits both, we take a 1 point lead with 4 seconds left! You have to admit the loss had SOMETHING to do with his missed free throws. It would've helped if he had at least hit one. If it was Blake, you'd be all over him for it.
