In this post, I compare Landry to other reserves by various metrics including points/min, TS%, WS, PER, and 4th quarter scoring. It turns out that he dominates across all these categories. http://www.red94.net/?p=362 Explanations in the link above, but a few scatter plots to summarize what I found graphically:
He plays for the Suns. A quick glance at his game logs indicate he's played 56 of his 71 minutes in the fourth quarter, and generally in blow-outs. In other words, he's a garbage time player. But he's still scored 41 points in his 4th quarter time. Because of his lack of minutes, the size of his name is set to 8-point font, but he has scored at an impressive clip.
Marc Stein concurs: http://proxy.espn.go.com/nba/dailydime/_/page/dime-091126-27/weekend-dime-first-trimester-awards I'd like to this he got those 4th quarter stats from my post, but I'm sure he's got his own resources.
