Yes, he is the best player... But i dont think he has that quality that can lead the team, unlike Billups. Melo is a very similar player to kobe (a scorer, only bigger), but then melo doesnt have that skill that can pull the team together if another good player gets injured. Anyway, i think in the long run Melo will develop this... but for now i think Billups is AT LEAST just as important as Melo. Thats why he is denver's mvp for me.
