After two-years at the club, Gary Megson has been sacked as Bolton manager with immediate effect.

The decision came after Bolton gave up a 2-1 lead over Hull and were met by boos at when the whistle blew for fulltime.

While Bolton shop for a new manager, assistant coach Chris Evans will take the reins. Alan Curbishley and Mark Hughes are both possible candidates to take the vacant managerial role.

Megson has now become the third manager to be sacked this season since Paul Hart (Pompey) and Mark Hughes (Shitty) both got the boot. Who's up next? Benitez? Phil Brown? Martinez?

    Clicky.
