Kobe and Pau had monster games. Odom made up for his poor start and delivered clutch baskets. Even Farmar stepped up. Bynum benched early, wonder why... We got the W, but it wasn't as convincing. Although the warriors where on a roll as they beat the Celtics and the Suns, and we've been playing poorly. I'll take it! Good thing we have 2 days to rest up before the kings come to town.
Watched the game, exciting high scoring affair. I hate Farmar, but he was decent today I guess. Get ready for 5 games of extreme suckage. Kobe's a beast. What's new. Pau played a good game too. LO was absolute shit the 1st half, but really stepped up in the 2nd. Someone needs to tell him to stop shooting 3's. That's not his forte, I don't know why he's fallen in love with them this year. Sasha played well off the bench. Played pesky defense on Morrow and Mike Bibby'd him. lol Haven't seen that in a while. Props to Sasha. Good win. Get some rest, hope Ron Ron is back for the next game. Nice game by Anthony Randolph btw, he's very impressive. Turiaf also blocked a dunk attempt by Kobe. Pretty sick lol
Pau was good, Kobe was a monster. Odom was awesome in the 2nd half. If only he could do that all the time. Fuck Fisher. Farmar with the nice game, but expect shitty ones. Even in a good game, he did a lot of stupid shit. Sasha was pesky all night, too bad he still can't shoot. Big Drew with a decent game, but not many minutes.
I'm still bothered by the lack of chemistry between Drew and Pau. Often times they are on the same side of the post! Come on! Are you kidding me? Kobe's been the MVP so far this year. So filthy.
I've felt for a while now that we have two centers, that's why Odom and Pau did so well together last year. Pau can play PF but he's better suited at the 5 these days, especially as he ages.
I've stated from the beginning that our backcourt duo coming off the bench should be Shannon Brown and Sasha Vujacic. I haven't seen every single game this year, but from the games I have watched, Phil rarely, if at all, uses Shannon at the PG spot. I have no idea why, I know he isn't a traditional PG, but neither is Fish. Shannon may not be a good playmaker, but neither is Farmar. Shannon's shot may be a bit shaky, same with Farmar. But Shannon does play defense, Shannon does not hog the ball, and he does not think he's a superstar. I honestly don't know why Jordan is even given any minutes. I hate him. Like Mamba stated, even when he's having a decent game (which usually means he's hitting open shots, which he should do be doing every game) he still manages to do some stupid shit. I still have some faith in Sasha, as crazy as it may seem. He's been given minutes the last couple of games and he's produced. A Shannon-Sasha backcourt would be much better at facilitating the offense and creating ball movement. I have no idea why Phil continues to give Jordan minutes, he fucking sucks. I also HATE it when he plays Farmar and Sasha together. You're just asking for trouble there. I think there may also be some issues between Farmar and Sasha, because Farmar never passes to him, even when he's wide open. He'd rather dribble the ball for another 3 seconds and jack up a shot with a hand in his face, which 99% of the time results in a brick. But yeah, Shannon Brown > Derek Fisher in all aspects of the game.
