 I remember the "Apache strap matches" and the "coal miners glove matches."

:sigh: Back in those days, pro wrasslin was fun.

He reminds me a bit of Rick Mahorn, or maybe more like The Atomic Dog

Very true. One or two good games, and all the sudden Bayless was good enough that some fans felt the team could trade away Rudy, or Webster and Blake.

I really like Bayless, but it's not like he followed up game against the Spurs with great shooting stats.

But fans (not just of the Blazers) love to pump up a player after a few games, as though it's the base line for that player. It's kind of funny to watch from an outsider perspective, I'm sure.

    Realistically, he's a more athletic/tougher Oberto.

Which isn't a bad thing at all.

He has hops like Tyson Chandler. He reminded me a lot of Chandler especially in college the way him and Harden played off each other. But he has a lot higher bball IQ then Chandler.
