Is that wrong? I live in Beaverton. 158th and Cornell area. (Come see me if you want PapaG) I have lived in this area for a good 10 years now in a row, even more when I was a kid. I am starting to see more and more panhandlers and they are getting closer and closer to stores and shopping centers, further away from the freeways. I HATE PANHANDLERS. So, after I was a little fired up from the OT threads with PapaG, I chose to tell this person how I felt. I parked my car, got out and this is close to how it went. ---- Was that wrong? I don't think so. I think I have ALL the right in the world to defend my town, to defend my turf and to express to the low lives that are making my town look like shit. If someone was walking their dog and they shit on your lawn, wouldn't you do something about it? And what is with the 'vote for Bush' references?! I don't get it.
I understand that people lose jobs, but if he worked for intel, shouldn't he have made decent money? Did he not save any of it? Also, I'm confused by his statements about his mother and you voting for Bush. Has he been on the street so long that he's forgotten that Bush already served the maximum amount of time he can serve?

You might try chilling out every once in a while. While I don't approve of pandhanlders, I don't approve of being rude to folks just because your having a bad day either.

Everyone has stories to tell, that doesn't mean they have to be so angry all the time. I'm sure that panhandler has many stories to tell about his life and why he is there, and perhaps you'd find he is not so different from you.
Perhaps. See, this is why I like this forum (aka our little Blazer crew, wherever we end up) so much. There are SO many different personalities and points of view. I am able to post my sometimes VERY strong opinions and hear SO many different perspectives. I find that I am usually wrong, or I find a fantastic way to look at things, that I would not have otherwise. I love it. You guys are rad Much love.
I don't get it lol So where do you live? Do you live in a city with lots of PH? Do you work with homeless people like others on this site? Just trying to find out why you disagree with me on this so much.
