Not a good start. Ohio State went right down the field and scored. Oregon could use a score and then to show some cajones on defense.
Looks really bad for the Ducks at this point. The Buckeyes threw UO off completely by passing so much on the first drive. Second drive, UO is on its heels on defense. The Ohio State lines (offensive and defensive) just plain look tougher than Oregon's.
Oregon has basically found their composure and made this a game. A very fine stop at the end of Q2 to hold Ohio State to a field goal, keeping the game within 3.
Not so much now, though. On a side note, if I've been a Pac-10 fan my whole life, but am now working on my Master's from tOSU, shouldn't I at least feel something about this game? I'm glad it's a good one, but after watching Navy dismantle another "big conference" school yesterday I'm all celebrate-d out. BTW, we at least kept it within a 2-pt conversion when we played tOSU. Hopefully Oregon can make it close.
Interesting we'd go for it on 4th and 8, but on 4th and 1 we decide to kick a field goal. Very very interesting...oh well I'm proud to be a duck!
Despite Pryor being so good Oregon still was in the game. James being injured for that Blount fumble was the turning point in the game. That fumble just seemed to take the air out from under the Ducks wings.
