I don't know what to think at this point. All I know is that if there is one team where us playing incredibly small won't catch a team off-guard it's against the Dubs.
we really should get blown out, thats 3 players who were in our top 10 at the beginning of the year...wowsa.
We have a good chance. We're at home against a team that is 9-22 and 3-15 on the road. A team that won't exploit out depleted front court. Are we really to the point where Steve Blake sits out and we feel were doomed? Most of this board feels he should be sitting anyways. Or, have you come full circle because he's hit a few 3's recently?
The only people we are missing are LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Batum, Steve Blake, Rudy Fernandez, Greg Oden, Travis Outlaw and Joel Przybilla. that's not too much. I think Nate is going to suit up.
speaking of nates suiting up, how about that lil fella from the Knicks - first time on the floor in like 14 games and drops 41 on the hawks to lead them to the win.
Golden State almost always gives us fits. But who knows, this is a different group of guys going out there.
Logically, we don't have a chance w/o Aldridge- but these Blazers have heart, so I'm pretty hopeful. Blake being out is addition by subtraction, though.
Who the hell knows what to expect. I wouldn't be surprised if we won handily, or lost handily, really. Should be an interesting game.
We will win. Pendergraph had 8 pts & 14 rebs through 3 quarters vs the Clips. Don't know why we didn't play him in the 4th. If we give him the go for 4 quarters tomorrow, I expect about 15 & 13 out of him. If we can bring in Mills, we'll win easy. If Mills can't play, Dre & Bayless can hold down the fort and get us a W. I'm not worried at all.
Well the remaining guys that we have could push the game into a more "up tempo" style with the subtraction of Blake. Perhaps Miller and Howard have some gas left in the tank and could run a little more freely perhaps? Hopefully the coaches have seen this stat and use Howard and Pendergraph to control the boards if LA is out and prevent fast breaks. Cunningham might be our savior for throwing down 12-16 footers. I hope Nate uses Bayless to attack the basket, while kicking out passes to Webster to throw down three's.
We didn't play him in the 4th because: I know the article was about Miller, but it answered for me the very same question you had...why wasn't JP in just a little in the last 6 minutes?
