I think that the winning might be over for a while...

Lets face it.. with Blake and LA, this team is iffy on most nights to win. Without them theres about a 10% chance even vs bad teams. I mean I dont know how long LA is out. Maybe a week, maybe 2 but anyone who thinks we can win without him and blakes scoring is nuts. I know Blake has been streaky but we need that 3 ball dropping. We don't score enough as it is. With LA out, we are losing at least 15 a night and blake gets about 10 on most nights. Thats 25 points. I could see a long losing streak on teh herizon till at least LA comes back. And now i wonder who's back first.... rudy or blake? These next few weeks could define our season. OKC and Utah are 2 games back. And OKC is coming on strong. Imagine losing that final playoff spot to them. That would be fairly gross.

Listen, im shocked we won 21 games but no LA and Blake is just too much to overcome.

    Your probably correct.

However, it all depends on Miller & Bayless. If those two can get out of their recent shooting slumps and the remaining bigs can stay out of foul trouble, then they have a chance to prove you wrong.

..and Webster and Pendergraph and Dante... the only way we win is if we get contributions all the way down the line.

You said we were the 4th best team in our division. I'm not sure I can take anything you post seriously. This team will be fine. Blake being out means two players that are better than him get more playing time. LMA being out for today's game hurts, but I don't think it hurts enough to the point where you count this team out. We went into SA and beat the Spurs WITHOUT BROY......LMA isn't supposed to be out for too long...So the winning will not stop debbie downer.

If we have a few games where Bayless and Roy put up over 50 points between them, we should at least give ourselves a chance to win. Golden State has no shot blocking inside to speak of, so I fully expect Bayless to go to town as long as he isn't in foul trouble. The best way to take Monta Ellis out of the game is to attack him anyhow.

Aldridge might play tonight so your argument is null and void.

I doubt it...with nothing to go on except that they put him in a boot instead of just wrapping the ankle the other night. Plus both ankles are sore. My money is on him sitting tonight.

I said "may" play. If he doesn't play tonight he will only be out 1 or 2 games.

And I said that it is highly unlikely.

    But you're right this shouldn't be a long-term thing...knock knock...

Pendergraph and LMA are interchangeable. We won't miss LMA. In fact, LMA missed 6 of the games during our 13 game win streak. And if we call up Patty Mills, I'm sure he can hit the three just as well as Blake.

Not quite. Turiaf and Biedrins are back in their rotation, and Randolph is a pretty good weakside shot blocker himself.

Wait, a writer at the O may potentially not have his facts straight? Say it isn't so!

Turiaf had 5 blocks in their last game, I believe.

Well when you have so many injuries, you can only keep the magic going for so long. Let's be thankful that we have built up a nice above .500 cushion.
