Ron Ron should hit up Gerald Wallace. He is the concussion king. He could get a few pointers on how to heal up properly.

You might be the biggest idiot on this board.

The Kings coach and bench were right behind Kobe with the coach looking right down at Kobe's feet. You don't think he would've thrown a fuckin' bitch fit if his feet were out of bounds? Get the fuck out of here.

u really demonstrated your maturity with that attempt at a comeback, i especially like the name calling.

i didnt watch the game but it looked like the king players were visibly upset, particularly that cassipi kid. and fyi- steve smith of nba tv is the one who pointed it out and the nba crew slowed down the footage to illustrate smith's point. and if u dont think that the laker franchise and kobe bryant are the benefactors of lopsided calls in their favour- refer to vlade and cwebb's kings who were robbed at their moment of immortality by officials with an agenda from the league office.

They were upset because they lost, not because they got cheated out of a call.

And they lost their moment of "immortality" because they lost to us. According to you, the refs may have helped, but they can't stop players from making baskets.

Kobe was not out of bounds. Paul Westphal was standing right next to Kobe and looking at his feet... he did not contest the shot bec. he knew that kobe was not out of bounds.

That wasn't really a push off, he was setting a screen and came off it, it happens pretty frequently. As for being out of bounds, his heels never actually hit the ground when he set, a la Sean Elliot against Portland in game 2 of the 1999 Western Conference Finals.

fair enough. i agree about the push off because udrich or whoever was guarding him flopped like an idiot trying to draw a foul on kobe "freakin" bryant at the end of the game. however, i would like to get a closer look at his feet because the footage i saw led me to believe that he was out of bounds.

Go to Youtube and watch some of the videos. Unfortunately, none of them give a close up of the feet, but the one I watched, it didn't look like his heels ever hit the ground when he set.

Yeah, i'd like better footage as well. But as others have said (and as I was watching), you can see the OKC head coach looking directly at Kobe's feet from the time he got open to the moment the shot left his fingers. Had he stepped out of bounds like Kamla (who --I hate using the term-- is a well known Kobe hater) and others have suggested, the coaches would have thrown a bitch fit. Thats how I look at it.

I think you meant Sacramento...not OKC, and their coach is Paul Westphal.

fair enough. on 50/50 calls- i think the offensive player should get the benefit of doubt and be allowed to prove himself (i.e. hit the three to win the game). although, coaches not complaining about missed calls (not named phil, larry, doc, adelman) is a regularity with the hefty fines. last night the celtics were incredibly physical with the raptor players in the fourth quarter and they only got called for one foul and the raps were being called for some cheap ones. for instance- bargnani and sheed were going for a rebound off a free throw and bargs got called for a hook and he did nothing. i was shocked, bargnani was in disbelief but coach triano looked unfettered.

After watching the replays I understand the complaint about Kobe stepping out of bounce. It kinda seems that way on the replay, but like Moo said, maybe his heels didn't touch the ground. The coaches were right there on the sidelines watching Kobe as well, and one of the King's assistants pointed right at Kobe's feet when he shot it. I'm pretty sure he wasn't out of bounce or else there would've been a bigger outcry.

Either way though, if the refs were to say the shot didn't count, have fun getting out of Staples. lol

I meant Rick Kamla. And that was my mistake with the Sac-OKC mixup.

Also, a quote from this link

I believe him in that instant.
