...........I still don't think we will make the playoffs. What this team is doing right now is simply amazing! BUT..................... there is no way they can continue this. Brandon is carrying way too much on his shoulders and it is making me nervous. I am so proud of my team, but the law of averages have to catch up with us anytime right? I just realistically don't believe my boys can keep this up. Go BLAZERS?

In a way, this current stretch resembles the 13 game stretch 3 seasons ago.

But I think once Batum and Rudy come back, the chances will improve a bit.

    We're running Brandon ragged.

He's our only go-to guy; LaMarcus is not assertive enough and drifts WAY too much away from the paint.

KP's apparent plan is to overachieve while playing Roy 45 min/per.

I don't think there are going to play .800 ball the rest of the way either. But, if they can play .500 or close for the next couple of weeks, we will get start to get some guys back.

I would agree HCP except we will start getting some help back for Roy. next game Mills, game after that LMA, a game or two after that, Blake, then Rudy and Batum shortly after that. We need Oden and/or Joel to do well in the playoffs, but I think we can eek into the playoffs without them. LMA will end up being the C for the rest of the season and Batum will end up playing a lot of PF is my guess. We will be small, but fast and with Roy at the helm, barring more bad breaks, I think this team should make it to the post-season.

Trust me, I wish I wasn't, but I have too much hoop knowledge flowin' in my dome to not see a crash comin' in our future.

This will become no run-of-the-Mills team.

Disagree. Look at other teams, and starers they trot out there. We'll weather the storm, and slowly get healthy at the right time. And we'll have loads of practice time at the end of the season to integrate pieces into the team. Also, I believe in Brandon Roy. He's the sole reason I am currently a season ticket holder. I bought my tickets when we drafted him. I knew before he was drafted he would be something special, and know that now. He'll get us there just fine. Thrust himself into the MVP race, pulling an injury decimated team into the playoffs. Finish in the top 5 in voting easy. Day to day, it's a struggle, but who's going to knock us out? What are teams below us doing better? Seattle(sic) has a better C? Houston? Who do they got better? Sacramento? You seriously think our team is below teams like that? Nope. Sorry. If it's a fight for the last seed or two, we'll battle it out with them, and we're easily better than them. I on't think it'll take a late season struggle though. Way to keep the faith.

HCP has a point. Look at this months schedule and ask yourself how many of those games you see us winning.

I'm not questioning Brandon's game, it's the rest of the squad.

hcp.... its really simple then. you are saying our core sucks and we cant win without joel or oden.

Our 3 best players in Roy, Rudy and LA and we cant make the playoffs? Well then we are over rated. I mean give me a break. I realize till LA, Blake and Rudy come back things will be hard but if you and all the posters on here wanna talk about "our great future" then roy, la, and rudy should get us the 8 seed at worst. This team didnt even play well with oden. And even though we miss outlaws offense... are you fucking kidding me that a team that you all say is gonna win future titles cant make the playoffs with 3 main players of the core?

THAT IS WEAK! We have 22 wins in EARLY JANUARY. 10 more wins from now till the all star break would get us 32 in Feb. We really arent gonna win 15-17 games from Mid Feb through April? Really??? Cause Oden and Joel are out lol? So HCP and some other fools really think that this team wont win 25 more games this year? All yu will need in the west is about 47-48 wins. book it.

You guys kill me on here yet you have no faith in your best players yet you defend them over the thunder and kings rosters. If roy rudy and la cant get us the 8th seed... its time to rethink your little core.

p.s. didnt HCP say this after the spurs win. he is still waiting for us to fall apart. do the mikes know about this? what a fucking joke.

hey is our schedule tough in JAnuary? YAH. It was also tough in December.

We have something half teh teams in teh NBA dont... a closer in Roy. That goes a-long way in tight games. Will we beat the lakers, cavs, celtics? Prob not. As long as we beat the average teams... we will be ok.

Roy may be logging a lot of minutes but Rudy is supposed to be back in 2 weeks so I think Roy can manage until then. Also it sounds like Batum will be back by the AS break at the latest. Then this is just a guess but Outlaw could be back for March and April.

It'll be tough but I definitely think the team can do it. I'm actually not that worried about it to be honest.

if our pussy ass gm would make a trade we would be fine. we all know thats like asking the the nets to beat the lakers.

its a joke though.... we are 22-13 yet our fucking loser gm is gonna let us lose some games cause he cant swing a deal for legit players. how is he not going after jamison or butler? its unreal. some point sooon... he will have to decide wether hes playing for playoffs or lottery.

like i said... if roy, la, and rudy are so great... playoffs should be easy.
