I believe he was referring to MIXUM.

He also said that OKC and the KINGS (lol) have a brighter future than us. I was shocked by at least Sac.

Oh, sorry. I have that vBoard Firefox extension that totally eliminates any post Mixum posts as if he weren't there (including quoted material). I really ought to remove it, because he's kind of coming around. :D

A second unit of Bayless/Rudy/Webster/Pendy/Przy is absolutely stacked. You have everything you need. Slasher/distributor, shooters, defense, rebounding and experience. If we actually had a multiple set offense it would be even better.

I think several things have got the Blazers playing well.

    1. I think that when Blake got moved to the bench that the elephant in the room got addressed, and now that the pecking order has been established, he has relaxed.

    2. The additional scoring and pressure on the paint that Bayless brings has been refreshing. It looks to me like the game is finally slowing down for him and his maturity as a player is manifesting itself by him getting assist even when his shot isn't falling.

    3. Everybody finally relaxed when we became the underdog. Now every game the team goes out just playing hard, because they are "supposed to lose".

Now instead of thinking too much (early season) they are just flat out balling.

I am very proud of how hard this team is playing every night.

LOL! Nice. I wish I knew how to use all these gadgets people have been talking about.

I agree that is incredibly stacked. But personally, i'm starting to come around to the mind set that a clear 1st and 2nd unit isn't necessary. That would give us a 10 man rotation, and that is probably well too much. Minutes will be crunched and people's egos will start to be hurt.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
One thing to consider is that Pritchard may not have needed to be "taught" this. He needed to see some guys emerge as solid "lunch pail" guys before he could feel comfortable moving talent. If you do a 3-for-1 or 4-for-1 deal, you'd better have the guys who can step in play solid basketball around that much smaller core.

Obviously, I'm not saying he hoped for or expected this kind of attrition. But he may well have drafted Pendergraph and Cunningham with the hope/expectation that they'd develop into the sort of role-players that can complement a star core. But he needed to see that happen before making a big consolidation deal.

The other question in my mind is whether a real consolidation deal is even possible. We love the theoretical idea of trading a few good young players for a star, but there has to be a team willing to melt a star (or very good player) down into multiple young players. That's not always the case, at least for a player you'd want. Memphis may be willing to trade Rudy Gay (perceptually a star) for Fernandez, Bayless and Outlaw...but would you want that? A real star, like a Pau Gasol, may not be available for expirings and young players.

Jesus that was nerve racking. Philly almost had a total collapse up 14 with 4 minutes to go. Denver pulled within 1 before losing.

Philly is quietly having an excellent road trip. Me wonders if that is attributable to AI's return?

It's posts like this that will keep you from having any credibility whatsoever on here. You can't even have a decent conversation on here. Way to shine once again.
