Well we can't expect that to hold up. In the next 6 games we have to play 3 of the best teams in the league (LA, Cleveland, Orlando) @ The Clippers and home vs Memphis/Milwaukee are tough games too. Then, we get to go on a 4 game Road Trip that includes games at Boston and at Philly (who owns us) We need to get LA back and playing well to have any chance of a .500 January. We need Blake too - our Guards can't play 40 minutes/night. This stretch scares the life out of me.
Strangely, another great aspect to all these injuries is that the opposition really doesn't know how to play us presently. They didn't know what to expect from Bam Bam, DC, Father Time (my personal nickname for Howard), Webster and Bayless. By the time a scouting report gets in their hands, KABLOW!, another guy goes down (Blake) and another steps in (Mills). Unreal.
I like Hollinger's Power Ranking more. It is a better indication of where the team is, really. He currently has us at 10, which is basically where this team really stands in the NBA without centers (margin of error - 3 or 4)- so I really think they are somewhere between 7 to 13.
Someone's bound for a breakout month, Plus were fair on the road. I think we can keep it up, remember what we did in Texas...?
