I say yes. http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/holl...tistics?sort=per&qual=true&pos=c&seasonType=2 Greg Oden has the best PER in the entire league among centers (I consider Duncan a PF and so does the All Star ballot) and his production was trending upward. While Amare Stoudemire would likely start, I think the coaches would've had to give Oden some serious consideration as a reserve. Thoughts?
Take your pick: No because Nate won't let Miller play and pass to Oden. No because Miller's a selfish chucker and won't pass to Oden. No because Oden would have gotten injured five days later. KP should have picked Durant.
Nope. He was only averaging 24 minutes per game and wasn't likely to beat out Bynum, Gasol, Duncan and Kaman
Man he would have had to play pretty bad ass. Kaman is having a hell of a season in LA. He might even be close to being the best center in the NBA right now. He is way more polished offensivly than Dwight Howard, but Howard is a better defender and rebounder, and has the athletic edge.
Yes. Bynum is sucking and gasol and Duncan are pfs. The only one I see that could beat him is kaman. Oden was killin it before he got hurt and was still getting better too.
don't think so unless there were a bunch of injuries. But I think the national media likes the Oden story---good or bad.
I think if he kept approving at the rate that he was and we were winning he would've had a shot at it.
I'd think he'd have a chance if we were leading the NW Division and playing well. Unfortunately.. we'll never know.
A year ago Greg had all the earmarks of a bust, according to you. Now you speculate that he would have been an all star? I think you've either got a bi-player thing going on, or you have no ability to judge talent. Go Blazers
