and u smell like it. just caught the second quarter but here are a few realizations i had- turk is poop; caledron, turk, bargnani and beli should never play together because offensive players blow by them like they smell like poop; the players think poop all about coaching staff and bargnani is having another poop game.
Very surprised that Iguodala actually got that block on Bargnani. That guy's got the wingspan of a condor.
the iggy- turk matchup is disaster from a raptor standpoint. i think turk should just fake an injury and call it a night.
we win!!! of course thats in spite of turk and caledron's porous defense. and i must admit that bargnani dominated the fourth quarter- surprisingly he dominated on both ends and that makes it the more impressive.
Calderon and Turkoglu were an embarrassment on D in the fourth, but we won. On the last offensive possessions we were totally disorganized, especially Turkoglu who we run the offense through in late game situations for some bizarre reason. A couple of times it was like hot potato, nobody wanted the shot. Finally at the end Bosh got the ball and everyone ran away from him. He looked for a good five or six seconds to get rid of it before finally realizing he's the captain of the team and he should be the one to take the shot--a blow-by on Dalembert (foul, Dalembert's sixth) and-one. Perfect. Then we had a mis-communication on defense on the next play with our guys either forgetting we had a foul to give or not grabbing Iverson hard enough leading to a game-winning look from long for Williams, but he rushed the shot and missed. I dunno. Some nights it seems like we're doing everything wrong but we're on a hot streak I guess.
the raps have played 20 road games and the heat have played a paltry 12 on the road thus far. i think we have the potential to run away with the fifth seed if we stay injury free but that means a matchup with the hawks and i dont like our chances.
+1 And the raps should have probably iso'd bosh earlier when Dalembert got his 4th. I'm surprised by our ability to close out games this year. We're actually winning some close games
Icing on the cake: The Wiz/Magic game (the two worst team names in the NBA in one building)... second quarter... Vince runs through a screen, rubs up against it, somehow injures his shoulder in the process. Ok, so his bench is five steps away. It's his shoulder, not his back, legs, etc.. What does he do? Well he has a little lye-down in the middle of the court for a few minutes so everyone can see him writhe around. Face down, naturally. How any Raptors fan could want this guy back is so far beyond me I can't even fathom it.
so miami wins on the road against phoenix in impressive fashion so we still havent got the elusive fifth spot yet.
