I just got home from the RG and it was on fire tonight. The possesion where Artest missed a layup and howard pushed to roy on the wing and then roy to miller for the layup, it was the loudest its been all year. I thought it would explode!!

I want to first reckognize DaRizzle's fail post earlier, where you at homie??

    Couple Game Thoughts

1)Roy - most efficient player in NBA

    2) Webster D on Kobe in the first three quarters was phenomenal

    3) LMA - did you play tonight???

    4) Miller - just a great PG, stop being jealous nate!!!

    5) Bayless was really aggressive tonight, but seeing him up close, he still has a lot of work to become a good passer/pg in the league.

    6) We really really need frontcourt help, i think they had like 25 second chance points....

The Blazers were lucky throughout the game with all the LA players shooting so poorly. It was funny seeing kobe miss so many shots. LA is not the same without Gasol.

    Anyways, GO BLAZERS!!

I agree with most of these points here, although I wouldn't put an absolute term like MOST there, only because I haven't personally seen alot of the other teams play yet (at least the teams the Lakers haven't played minus a few games I've seen on NBA TV when I have time), but I stand by the fact that I think Roy is very fundamentally sound and plays with a veterans mentality. He is DEFINITELY up there as one of the more efficient players in the league. I still laugh at Minny trading for Randy Foye...*sigh* (Not a Minny fan, so that sigh was fake).

I will say about Kobe missing shots, that us Laker fans kind of take for granted that he does have that fractured finger, cause those first week or two of games after he hurt it, he was phenomenal (well with a hurt finger), and I think its affecting him MORE than he knows. Now tonight, I think it was a combo of hurt finger, poor shot selection, forced shots, great defensive by Martell, and ball hogging.

Anyway, this is me repping your post, without giving you the forum rep credit :P

Um Bayless has been quite a good passer. When his own offense has been off which until tonight happened often, he got his team involved a lot like against the Clippers at home, Philly, etc. He also had some nice passes tonight so...

Fuck passing! We don't need assists from him, we need instant offense! That's what he brought tonight. The way he is gonna help our team now and in the future is to come in the game and take pressure off of Brandon on the offensive end. Well played game JB!

What i was trying to say is that, he has a bull mentality. Like u see him ready to charge into the paint when he starts his engine from foul line extended. and he attacks and tries to lay it up, or dunk etc whether he gets fould or not, and i think if he would pass to open shooters (like brandon does off penetration) then he would be a lot more effective

Yea, but kobe had to be assertive.... no one can really score on that team consistenly other than gasol, and kobe had a off game, so they lost

He does force things up, but he does make some of those passes too. Maybe not as much as someone like Roy, but he is known to kick it out. Blake and Webster have benefitted from this from both Bayless and Roy. Yes, he can improve on his game like any young guy, but I have seen nothing to suggest he cannot or will not pass to the open man.

Seeing the crowd on TV it's amazing how many L.A. transplants live in Portland.

I was shaking my head in awe when Bayless hit those 4 long jumpshots in a row . . . Where did THAT kind of shooting come from?

I'm really liking what I'm seeing from Dante.

He' not as tall but he reminds me of Joe Smith.

That's because they're LA transplants. They all look like Jersey Shore guidos.

God I was surrounded by Laker fans...literally in front and to both sides...

2 of the 3 groups spent most of the game texting...the guy to the left of me spent 10 minutes talking to someone a couple sections over standing up and waving "Do you see me? Do you see me now?"

    uggg
