Easy tiger, we have to make playoffs first. Yes, our team is going to get a little more healthy, but we have to make it regardless first. Without a legit center, you have to think teams will fully exploit, so far only the Clippers, 76ers, and Grizzlies have. Of course, with good defenders in Webster and Batum, and Bayless is decent him (although when Rudy and Blake return he probably goes back to towel boy) and Roy is good when he wants to be, our perimeter defense can help a lot.
If the Lakers just chucked threes all game while Roy, Miller, & Bayless attacked the paint, sure we would.
Hey if you are going to lose in the playoffs, you might as well lose to the team that won it all IMO. The rest is just wasting time.
Exactly. I have no idea why anyone would want the Blazers to have an 8 seed in the playoffs... being on the road in any series, AND having to play the best team in the conference in the first round. Let's get a 2 or 3 seed and meet them in the WC Finals. Ed O.
