player option he most certainly will excersize. He isnt going anywhere. Unless you meant he has a team option.
It's a player option. I honestly can't believe that dude got an 18 million dollar contract. He was pretty good, but not that good.
I hope GO gives him a call What is it with Buckeyes and knee problems? http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4817131
I remember almost ALL of us from basketballboards.net were begging John Nash to trade for Michael Redd at the trading deadline in the 2004-5 season. We had several expiring contracts (I think Shareef, NVE, Damon, & D. Anderson) & Redd was in the last year of his contract - the thought was that Milwaukee had no chance of resigning him. At the time it seemed like expirings & draft picks might entice them to take something instead of losing Redd for nothing. LOL - I even emailed John Nash (somebody had posted his email address on the site) and the SOB actually emailed me back. He said something like "I'm sure Milwaukee likes him too". I remember thinking he should be spending less time returning my emails and more time on the phones. At any rate, I guess it's fortunate that trade was never made. Although I'm sure the camaraderie part of it would be perfect - he'd fit right in with all of our other injured players.
Nash was generally managing/posturing while collecting a fat paycheck from PA... I wonder if his daily agenda is really that much different today. I'm only thankful that he didn't make more moves. STOMP
